The Revolt RV400 BRZ is a new more affordable and simpler version of the Revolt RV400. It is meant to be an entry-level electric bike for those who are just starting out on their EV journey. Here’s how it differs from the RV400.
The Revolt RV400 BRZ comes at a price of Rs 1,42,950. But with the latest discount, it now costs Rs 1,32,950 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It is offered in 5 colours: Lunar Green, Pacific Blue, Dark Silver, Rebel Red, and Cosmic Black.
The Revolt RV400 BRZ comes with the same powertrain as the RV400, it gets the same 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery pack linked to a 3kW motor. The motor offers a claimed top speed of 85km and the bike delivers a claimed range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in Normal mode and 80km in Sports mode. The battery takes 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent using a 15A socket.
The RV400 BRZ being the simpler version of the RV400 doesn’t get the same set of features. First, there’s no keyless operation as the BRZ gets physical keys. Second, smartphone connectivity is also missing so riders won’t be able to access readouts and stats via the Revolt App, such as battery status, travel history, remaining range and the nearest swap station.
The Revolt RV400 BRZ is identical to the RV400 and comes with the same underpinnings. The e-bike gets an aluminum subframe and swingarm. It is suspended on an inverted fork and preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by 240mm disc brakes at the front and rear with a combined braking system (CBS) as standard.
