Gemopai Electric has launched the Miso electric moped. It is priced at Rs 44,000 (ex-showroom). The electric moped does not require a licence to ride. It Is available with a Rs 2,000 discount till July 15th.

The electric moped has no body panels but get features like an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, LED turn indicators and a digital instrument console. 

The Miso gets a 250-watt hub-mounted electric motor which allows the moped to reach a top speed of 25to 35kmph. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of 75km and takes around 3 to 4 hours to fully charge. Gemopai claims that the battery pack can be charged upto 90 percent in two hours. 

Underpinnings include conventional telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. It gets 16 inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking is via drum brakes at both ends. The Miso weighs just 45kg but can carry loads upto 125kg.
